Odd what you stumble across

January 15th, 2007

Since it was a long weekend, I thought I’d try digging through my piles of junk and find some photos for a friend. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the photos I was looking for, but I came across a few other things I’d forgotten about. Some of those I’ve since scanned and others I’m working on. Eventually I’ll post some of those to Flickr, but for the moment here’s one of the better photos I’d found.

National Cathedral

I came across some books I’d forgotten about in my search, too. For instance, the old course packet to the Aethelred Eldridge’s class. I’d forgotten about his stream of consciousness styled writing… and his use of Fraktur fonts for all the text. It’s made for some interesting, although slow, reading over the course of the day.

Nice surprise

I’d been posting things to Flickr for a while and not really thinking a whole lot of it. The other day I was contacted by someone looking to use one of my shots in small show in London. Pretty cool. The photo, below, is a bike lot in Narita, Japan, and the show has to do with bike traffic.
