More on the Eldridge text
For those curious about the Eldridge’s textbook, below is a sample of what it looks like.

The Fraktur font makes for slow reading, but his stream of consciousness writing keeps me intrigued. To make things easier on anyone trying to read the text, the section pictured reads as follows.
His heart sank a little. And kept going. A nurse was installed. She kept careful watch. Serenely overhead the skylight opened. Awful loneliness settled upon her. Not until breakfast did she ask for toast. And wasn’t she ravenous. With marmalade, a nice spread, her heart had gone into erosion — though warped freshly in vinyl to preserve flavour. The masculine heart, with only the one eye raised to the trout, sighed. Another monokrat bites the dust. This isn’t the story’s end. The spongy gall of world was swallowed up with deeply astringent pleasure. The doctor paused. In non-tech talk he explained himself. Sorry to hear he was so ill. It is an excellent idea. Night blindness clucked. That soaked spangles doth to nutritive surgery submit. A stamen stuck in severe censure on the same. In the stigma flowers separately a half white-hearted male. Imprinted mortar flat brays. Stamps collect. Dust aborts. 1.
His lectures usually had a very similar feel to the text above, although every now and again he’d take some time to argue with someone in the class. Usually it seemed like disjointed nonsense, but it would often wrap around in weird ways. If nothing else, the lectures were interesting mental exercises to follow.

Excellent! Does this mean you’re going to scan the whole book?
Are you going to become an AE scholar? :)
Becoming an AE scholar … can’t say that’s crossed my mind before. It’s an interesting thought, but probably not one I’ll do a lot with. At least not anytime soon.
Speaking of AE scholars, I have plans to do some documentary work this summer in Athens on AE, I’ve also started a blog http://albionawake.org/, I’ll be posting daily images, and audio/video when possible
His lectures are amazing, as you say, they may seem disjointed, but they are always tied together in strange coincidences, it’s almost eerie, on the days that you do catch his thread of conversation, how much of the conversation relates to a thread or theme.
